Rare opportunity inside!

Hey Reader.

Dropping into your inbox today (thanks for having me, by the way) with a chance for you to (a) help me raise funds for a fantastic cause and (b) get a quick fix for your thesis.

I don't think I've told you before, but I put 2% of everything I earn from this business into my 'giving' pot. I then regularly pass that on to the charity of my choice. It's a key value of mine and it's important to me.

Greyhound Gap is the rescue that my little buddy, Shelley, came from. I've been a huge supporter of their work for nearly 12 years; they rehome hundreds of lurcher 'poundies' and ex-racing Greyhounds every year. Many are in real trouble when they come in, and Gap rehabilitates them with care and love from their base in Staffordshire. They are a mid-size operation, with around 70 dogs in at any time, and each dog is known as an individual by the team. That means that when they are rehomed, the success rate is almost 100%. Just this week, they took in two dogs in need - to find one of them was very pregnant. They now have twelve (!!!) (very cute, but nonetheless 😒) puppies to contend with too, so funds are very much needed right now.

We do lots of fundraising, and online auctions are a key part of our activities. For this auction - which ends at the end of this week, I am offering a short-duration 1-1 package and I'd love you to bid for a chance to work with me if you'd like to get my help - all proceeds will go to Greyhound Gap.

I've linked the original post (on Facebook) below. Please do click through to have a look, and place a bid in the comments if it's something you're interested in. As ever, if you've got questions, hit reply and ask away!

Thanks for your support. I'd love to see your bid on there! If this opportunity isn't for you, please do browse the auction and see what else you might like - you'll find all sorts on there. I'm hoping to win the 'handyman for the day' to help me tidy up my garden ...

Always in your corner,

Hey Reader. Let’s talk about making mistakes today. No, really, keep reading. It’s not about you! Just after I graduated from my first degree - in my mid-twenties, I was offered and accepted a PhD scholarship at the same university. It was a topic consequent to my undergraduate dissertation, working with people I loved, and it seemed too good to be true. (There is a lesson there, btw: if it seems too good to be true, it probably is. Anyway, I digress) Eighteen months in, I was still wading...

Hey Reader. I hope your week is going well. I’ve had a mix of emotions this week, but it's mostly been a joyous time. A couple of my 1:1 clients (hi, you!) are nearing the end of their Get Progress! packages with me, and witnessing their progress over the last few months has been an absolute delight. I'm thrilled to congratulate them as they finalise their theses and plan their submissions. Their studies are now in a solid, logical format and ready to be shared with the examiners. What a...

Hey Reader. How was your Easter? Did you get a break? We spent a couple of weeks away and had some fun with the kids. It was good to have a change of scenery. I also turned some really exciting ideas into reality. It's been a while since that has happened for me. That change got me thinking - so here’s my take on it for you: Competing priorities > swirling scramble > confusion > stress OR Targets > space > capacity. Here’s the breakdown: When we get caught up in all the ‘have to do’s and they...
